The K9 Retreat offers dog friendly self catering accommodation. Nestling in the heart of Elmesthorpe Leicestershire is Old Woodhouse Farm, a beautifully restored Victorian Farmhouse. The self catering accommodation is also close to the beautiful county of Rutland.

Once part of a huge working farm, Old Woodhouse has been in private ownership since 1995 and lovingly refurbished as a family home retaining an acre of private gated gardens, 6 acres of paddock land and a small private fishing lake. All accommodation is located within the gated grounds of the Old Woodhouse Farm.

Helen and Kevin would like to welcome you to Old Woodhouse Farm, The K9 Retreat! We provide dog friendly accomodation for those of you who would like to bring along your canine friends for a relaxing weekend in the countryside. We live on the ground floor of the Farmhouse so are always on hand.

Sited within the grounds are 2 static mobile homes each with their own private garden space. Both static mobile homes have 2 bedrooms and are furnished to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible.

Within the family house we also have a beautifully refurbished self-contained apartment with all you need for a comfortable and relaxing break from it all. If you enjoy tranquil walking, relaxing fishing, fervent birdwatching, active horse riding, peaceful cycling, a few rounds of golf then there is lots to do locally and lots of places to visit by car.

From a stile in one of the paddocks one can access the footpaths leading to the beautiful Burbage Common and Woods with miles of walking for our canine guests (and their owners!)

Old Woodhouse Farm is also home to Kennel Club registered Sky Spirit's Border Collies our much adored lovable rogues! We occassionally have puppies available to approved and active homes only. (website coming soon)
